Mulki sworn in as Aqaba chief commissioner, Mahadin as senator

AMMAN — Hani Mulki took the oath of office on Wednesday before Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour as chief commissioner of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority for a four-year term, succeeding Kamel Mahadin.
A Royal Decree was issued Sunday approving the Cabinet’s decision to appoint Mulki.
Also on Wednesday, Mahadin was sworn in as a senator.
Senators also approved Mahadin’s membership in the Upper House’s Arab, international and expatriate affairs, and energy and mineral resources committees.
