Mulki telephones Iraqi PM, discusses ties, Mosul

AMMAN — Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Thursday telephoned his Iraqi counterpart Haider Al Abadi over means to enhance Jordanian-Iraqi bilateral ties, especially at the economic and trade levels.
Mulki highlighted the Kingdom's stance that supports the Iraqi government's efforts in the war against terrorism, voicing hope that the Mosul battle will eliminate the Daesh terror group, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Abadi acquainted Mulki with the advancements of the Iraqi army against Daesh to free Mosul. Both premiers also went over the Kingdom's preparations to host the Arab summit and issues on its agenda aimed at reaching political solutions to the conflicts in the Arab world.
