AMMAN — Municipal Affairs Minister Walid Masri on Saturday visited the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) and expressed the ministry’s readiness to increase cooperation and hold more meetings to discuss subjects of mutual interest.

At a meeting with JEA President Majid Tabba and other members, Masri expressed the ministry’s readiness to cooperate with the syndicate in promoting green buildings, organising special training programmes for ministry employees at the JEA.

Tabba suggested launching a training programme for newly graduated engineers working at the ministry, and called on the ministry to reconsider the allowance of engineers working at municipalities, according to a JEA statement.
