AMMAN — An official source at the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) on Saturday said that one of its cadres in the Northern Military Zone thwarted a narcotics smuggling operation in an area close to the Jordanian-Syrian border.
In a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, personnel adhered to engagement rules after seeing two people approaching Jordanian territory, which caused them to retreat deep into Syrian territory.
