National Charter Party receives 370 membership applications in Ramtha

AMMAN — The National Charter Party on Wednesday held a meeting with dignitaries, families and women in Ramtha District, at the end of which the party received 370 membership applications.
The meeting focused on the party's political orientations, and its upcoming organisational and political plans, partisan issues and Jordan’s politics, according to a party statement.
The meeting was attended by 230 women from Ramtha District.
Secretary-General of the National Charter Party Mohammad Momani, Assistant Secretary-General for Women's Affairs Sana Mehyar, and a number of party members voiced pride in Jordanian women, who currently make up 1,300 members of the party.
They also highlighted the importance of women's political participation, indicating that “the next stage will witness a breakthrough” related to Jordanian women's presence and involvement in partisan work, in line with Jordan’s political modernisation plan.
The National Charter Party pledged to empower women and youth through its party committees, speakers said.
