New Jordanian ambassador presents credentials to Finland president

AMMAN — Yousef Batayneh, Jordan's extraordinary and non-resident ambassador to Finland, presented his credentials to President Sauli Niinisto on Thursday at the Finnish presidency's headquarters. During the ceremony, the new envoy expressed his hope for progress and prosperity for the Finnish leadership and people. President Niinisto expressed pride in the strong ties between Finland and Jordan, and praised the two countries’ cooperation, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
