AMMAN — The government’s fuel pricing committee on Friday decided to lower the prices of a number of fuel derivatives for October.

The committee said that it has referenced international oil prices to set October’s prices.
The committee also noted that the current prices of fuel derivatives in the Kingdom take into consideration that the cost of a barrel of crude Brent oil decreased to $90 in September, compared with $100.20 in August.
The Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission on Friday also decided to maintain the “differences in fuel prices” category on monthly electricity bills at zero fils per kilowatt-hour in October, according to a commission statement cited by Petra.
