One dead in Tafileh car crash; 7 injured in Zarqa collision

AMMAN — A woman died and her husband was injured in a car accident on Friday in Tafileh’s Jurf Al Darawish region, 180km southwest of Amman, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Civil Defence Department (CDD) personnel took the body of the woman and the injured man to Prince Zeid Hospital. In Zarqa, 22km northeast of Amman, seven people were injured in a three-vehicle collision.
CDD personnel administered first aid and took them to Prince Feisal Hospital where there were reported to be in fair condition, Petra said.
