Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum, Tunisian Commerce Chamber sign cooperation agreement

AMMAN — The Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum on Tuesday signed an agreement with the Tunisian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to enhance cooperation and trade exchange among their members, attract investments and exchange expertise.
President of the Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum Nathmi Atmeh and President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tunisia Mounir Moakher signed the agreement, which stipulates coordinating joint meetings to discuss various cooperation opportunities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The deal also includes exchanging economic information, investment laws, and instructions issued by relevant official authorities, to encourage businessmen to create a common investment environment and offer training programmes.
The agreement outlines the establishment and development of a virtual economic portal to increase the exposure of Tunisian products in the Jordanian market and vice versa, and its extension to the African market.
Chargé d'Affairs of the Tunisian Ambassador Muhammad Ali Belhabib stressed the importance of networking between Jordanian and Tunisian businessmen, exchanging visits and expertise and establishing joint projects, in a way that enhances trade exchange between the two countries.
He pointed out that Tunisia has a trade agreement with the African Union, and the possibilities are open for import and export.
