Palestinian refugees apply for university seats

AMMAN — A total of 492 students from Palestinian refugee camps have applied to benefit from the Royal makruma allocating seats for them at public universities.
Department of Palestinian Affairs Director Mahmoud Aqrabawi said the number of university seats granted under the makruma is 350, noting that the applications will be referred to the Unified Admissions Committee to specify the suitable specialisations for the students.
More than 3,000 students from 13 Palestinians refugee camps have benefited from the makruma so far.
