Plan endorsed to raise number of foreign students

AMMAN — The Council of Ministers on Sunday approved an executive plan to boost the presence of Arab and foreign students at higher education institutions for 2017-2020.
The plan aims at increasing the number of non-Jordanian students from 40,500 in 2016 to 70,000 by 2020, raising their number annually by 10 to 15 per cent of the current number, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
