PM, Saudi transport minister discuss cooperation

AMMAN — Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh on Tuesday met Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistic Services Saleh Jasser, describing Jordanian-Saudi relations as "strategic and based on a long history spanning decades".

The prime minister said that there is joint political will to expand cooperation and exchange expertise in various political, economic and social fields, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

He also referred to the importance of holding the 17th session of the Jordanian-Saudi Joint Trade Committee on Tuesday to enhance cooperation between the countries, especially in the field of transport.

Jasser underscored the deep-rooted ties and close cooperation in various fields, highlighting the two countries continued dedication to boosting them to serve common interests.

He also highlighted the commitment to “tangible results within fixed timetables” to establish collaborative projects and procedures agreed upon during the joint committee's meeting, in addition to addressing challenges to serve relations.
