Prince Assem inaugurates international renewable energy conference

AMMAN — HRH Prince Assem Bin Nayef, president of the Arab Renewable Energy Commission, on Sunday opened the International Investment Forum for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency for the MENA region.
During the two-day event, participants from 21 Arab and foreign countries are discussing investment opportunities in renewable energy, in addition to ways to encourage green innovations and the latest environment-friendly industries.
Commission Secretary General Saleh Irsheidat noted that improving the efficiency of renewable energy usage in the Arab world solves many of its challenges.
