Prince Mired checks on BRT accessibility for people with disabilities

AMMAN — HRH Prince Mired, president of the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (HCD), on Wednesday highlighted that the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project should be accessible for people with disabilities in accordance with construction standards.
Prince Mired made the remarks during a meeting with the executive assistant for the BRT project in the Greater Amman Municipality, Riyadh Kharabsheh, and contractors, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Muhannad Azzeh, HCD secretary general, said the Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities stipulates securing suitable conditions for people with disabilities.
