Prince Mired checks on national team of disabled military personnel prior to Invictus Games

AMMAN — HH Prince Mired, president of the Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers (HCDS), on Thursday checked on the Jordanian national team of disabled military personnel. The team arrived in Germany's Düsseldorf, on Wednesday, to participate in the Invictus Games which will be held between 9 and 16 of this month. During his visit, Prince Mired stressed the need to increase efforts to achieve excellent results. He commended the achievements of the HCDS team, which has won many medals in all previous events since 2016. This year, the HCDS 's team of 16 athletes will compete in a variety of events such as weightlifting, rowing and various track and field events including long jump, running, wheelchair racing, among others.
