Prince Mired honours companies employing people with disabilities

AMMAN — HH Prince Mired, president of the Higher Council for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities, honoured the companies that contributed to finding jobs for people with disabilities, as well as a number of students with disabilities working in industrial companies, a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on Sunday said.
During the honouring ceremony in Zarqa, the prince stressed the importance of providing jobs for people with disabilities and contributing to their integration in society. He also underlined the vitality of enforcing the law to guarantee and further the rights of people with disabilities.
Fares Hamoudeh, deputy chairman of Zarqa Chamber of Industry, said that the chamber initiated, in collaboration with the Institute of Arab Entrepreneurs and Creators, to attract and train people with disabilities for jobs in the Zarqa industrial sectors.
