Prince Mired, IEC chief discuss voting process for people with disabilities

AMMAN — HRH Prince Mired, president of the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Independent Election Commission (IEC) President Khaled Kalaldeh on Sunday discussed the means of rehabilitating polling centres to facilitate the needs of people with disabilities.
Prince Mired highlighted the importance of enhancing the political participation of people with disabilities and giving them the opportunity to deliver their issues and concerns to decision makers, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Kalaldeh expressed the IEC’s interest in these issues to lay out plans and steps to facilitate the voting process in parliamentary elections for people with disabilities.
