Prince Mired meets with AJIB chairman

AMMAN — HH Prince Mired, the president of the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (HCD), on Wednesday met Chairman of Arab Jordan Investment Bank (AJIB) Hani Qadai to discuss the bank’s efforts to ease banking service access for customers with disabilities.
The prince, during the meeting, commended the AJIB’s readiness to cooperate with the council to develop a plan to provide training preparations for the bank staff, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Qadi expressed appreciation of Prince Mired’s efforts to defend the rights of people with disabilities, reaffirming the bank’s keenness to provide persons with disabilities equal and fair access to quality financial products and services.
The president of the HCD has held various meetings with chairpersons of a number of banks to check on their services and agree on "clear work plans within certain time frames" to ease people with disabilities’ access to banking services and facilities.
