Prince Mired meets with UJ president

AMMAN — HH Prince Mired, president of the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (HCD) and University of Jordan President Abdulkarim Qudah have discussed means to enhance cooperation in the field of integrating students with disabilities.
Prince Mired, during a recent visit to the university, highlighted the importance of providing the best services to students with disabilities, mainly through offering environmental, academic and service facilities, as well as adopting up-to-date technologies in their education, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Saturday.
Qudah commended Prince Mired’s efforts in serving students with disabilities and maintaining their rights, stressing that the university is a “pioneer” in providing necessary support for students with disabilities through the student guidance department that includes specialists in special education.
