Princess Dana Firas visits Technical and Vocational Skills Development Commission

AMMAN — HH Princess Dana Firas, president of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS-Jordan), on Tuesday highlighted the importance of linking cultural heritage to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), notably by creating a reciprocal relationship between development goals and cultural heritage.
During a visit to the Technical and Vocational Skills Development Commission (TVSD), the princess said that preserving cultural heritage and offering young people training on archaeology and programmes related to heritage could help in achieving sustainable development and provide job opportunities for young people, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
