Princess Ghida visits mammogram unit in Madaba Governorate

AMMAN — HRH Princess Ghida Talal, chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Centre (KHCC) visited Madaba’s Health Directorate and the mobile mammogram unit recently, according to a statement sent by the Jordan Breast Cancer Programme.
During her visit, Princess Ghida stated: “Today, I am here with the women of Madaba to ensure the availability of high quality mammogram screening services, which are the right of every woman. We will continue encouraging all women to seek early detection examinations as their best chance against breast cancer.”
The visit was attended by the Governor of Madaba Hassan Al Qayyam, and Nisreen Qatamish, the director general of KHCF and the Director of the Jordan Breast Cancer Programme, according to the statement.
