Princess Muna calls for increased JNC-UNRWA cooperation

AMMAN — HRH Princess Muna, president of the Jordanian Nursing Council (JNC), and a delegation from UNRWA on Sunday discussed the agency’s regional nursing and midwifery services, as well as means to enhance cooperation between the JNC and UNRWA.
At the meeting, attended by director of UNRWA’s health programme Akihiro Seita and other UNRWA members, Princess Muna stressed the importance of increasing cooperation and providing greater support for nursing and midwifery in UNRWA operation areas, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The talks also covered an ongoing diploma programme that targets nurses and midwives in Jordan, the West Bank and Gaza.
The delegates praised Princess Muna’s support for UNRWA and the agency’s nurses and midwives, presenting the princess with a plaque in honour of her work at the local, regional and international levels.
