Princess Muna opens JNC training centres in Amman

AMMAN — HRH Princess Muna, president of the Jordanian Nursing Council (JNC), on Wednesday attended the opening of the clinical skills and simulation centre and the computer and capacity building centre at the JNC in Amman.
The council’s secretary general, Hani Nawafleh, said that the development of both centres at the council aims to enhance the response to the training and educational needs of healthcare workers locally, regionally and globally, and to offer certificates of specialisation in nursing and midwifery, the Jordan News, Agency, Petra, reported.
Lauding the efforts of the stakeholders, he said that the Ministry of Planning supported the clinical skills and simulation centre, noting that the computer centre will be used for specialty examinations, and will enhance the capacity building of nursing staff.
The ceremony witnessed the participation of a number of ministers and government officials.
