Private-public partnership will boost economy — PM

AMMAN — Partnership between the private and public sectors is important for underway efforts to revitalise the economy and create new job opportunities, Prime Minister Omar Razzaz said on Monday.
During the sixth meeting of the Private-Public Partnership Council, the premier said that work is ongoing to remove obstacles hindering progress in regards to current and future projects, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The council reviewed 16 projects in the final preparation stages, including an effort to collect and recycle acid batteries, according to Petra. Razzaz underlined the importance of prompt implementation given the economic situation and approved the draft of the guidebook for partnership projects.
The minister of finance was delegated to follow and approve any changes to the guide if deemed necessary.
