Promising Hands Association aid reaches 1,400 families

AMMAN — The number of families benefiting from the national aid campaign, launched by the Promising Hands Association (PHA) during Ramadan, is currently estimated at 1,400.
Under the campaign, carried out in cooperation with Caritas Jordan and under the patronage of HRH Princess Alia Tabbaa, families are presented with coupons for basic food items to cover their needs for at least three months.
PHA Director Azmi Shaheen said the association also presents educational assistance to 140 university students, while giving monthly aid to 50 underprivileged families.
