AMMAN — Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) on Tuesday joined the 401-450 category in the QS world university rankings in the field of computer science and information systems for the year 2022, after it was listed in the 451-500 category in 2021, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The ranking, which assesses the university’s global status among universities in 51 different fields, is based on the university’s academic reputation, employers’ opinions of its graduates, and citations from scientific research published by its professors.
It also takes into account the H-Index for Scientific Research and the International Research Network (IRN).
PSUT President Mashhour Refai said that the progress is in line with the university's endeavour to level up globally, stressing that it is the result of long-term efforts made by the university's academic and administrative cadres.
