AMMAN — As part of the Academic Advising Week, which is organised annually by the Deanship of Admissions and Registration, President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) Mashhoor Al Refai has virtually met with the university’s academically outstanding students.
During the meeting, Refai reviewed PSUT’s successes, describing the year 2020 as “the year of achievement”, stating that “leadership and excellence are two main pillars of its strategy”, according to a statement from the university.
“You are aware that the University has become a beacon for all those seeking leadership, due to the direct and vigorous guidance of HRH Princess Sumaya, chair of the university’s board of trustees, and through the efforts of the loyal faculty and administrative staff, students and employees,” Refai said.
Regarding distance learning, Refai stated that the administration will take into account all observations received from students and their instructors, emphasising that the university is “working hard to ensure that there is no difference in the quality of this year’s graduates with those of previous years”.
The activities of the Academic Advising Week were launched at PSUT earlier this week with the aim of offering advice to students before the final exams and the start of registration for the second semester.
The university’s Vice President for Administrative Affairs Mohammad Sababheh, Dean of Admissions and Registration Abdul Ghafoor Al Saidi and Director of the e-Learning Centre Adiy Tweissi attended the virtual event.
