PSUT shines in Malaysia debate tournament

AMMAN — The Princess Sumaya University for Technology’s (PSUT) Debating Club was crowned champion of the second Asian Arabic Language Debating Tournament.
The competition, organised by the International Islamic University Malaysia, saw the participation of 120 contestants from 30 universities worldwide, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Monday.
Also, the university's Siwar Qassim and Khalid Sayyid won the second and sixth places as best speakers in the tournament. HRH Princess Sumaya, chairperson of the Board of Trustees of PSUT, congratulated the winners and expressed her pride in their achievements.
PSUT President Mashhour Rifai also praised the students' achievements.
