AMMAN — The Dean of the King Talal School of Business Technology at Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT), George Sammour, has received a certificate as an evaluator of international business school programmes presented by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
This certification qualifies Sammour to serve on its committees of international experts to accredit business schools around the world, according to a PSUT statement.
Sammour, who holds a PhD in Business Computing from Hasselt University in Belgium, has served as head of the Business Information Technology Department at King Talal School of Business Technology and as the School’s Vice Dean.
The King Talal School of Business Technology is the first and only such school in any Jordanian university to obtain AACSB international accreditation, according to the statement.
The AACSB was established in 1916 and is the oldest body for global accreditation for business schools that offer undergraduate, master’s and PhD programmes in the field of business administration and accounting, the statement said.
