AMMAN — A number of Jaber border crossing staff placed in quarantine in one of Irbid’s hotels will stay isolated for another week after an employee among them tested positive on Wednesday.

The decision made by the Executive Committee for the Management of the Coronavirus Crisis in Irbid came upon the recommendations of the epidemiological committee, Irbid Governor Radawn Otoum said. More than 200 workers at the Jaber border crossing underwent a 14-day quarantine in Irbid hotels and were due to leave on Wednesday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
