AMMAN — Her Majesty Queen Rania on Monday chaired a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development (QRF).
The meeting discussed QRF’s recent focus on improving learning outcomes for children in Jordan, according to a statement from Her Majesty's office.
Her Majesty was presented with Edraak’s latest milestones. The massive open online course platform has garnered one million registered learners from the Arab world, and is currently offering over 58 free online courses in the fields of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, entrepreneurship, parenting, employability skills, and education, among others.
QRF CEO Haifa Dia Al Attia discussed the foundation’s progress in its mission to improve literacy, numeracy, and socioemotional skills for children between the ages
of 3 and 15.
