Razzaz checks on Desert Highway rehabilitation project

AMMAN — Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Wednesday checked on the rehabilitation project of the Desert Highway where he had a firsthand look at the work progress and detours along the road.
He highlighted the importance of adopting traffic safety procedures at all detours, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The premier exchanged talks with workers and contractors, and called for completing the scheme on time and according to the agreed standards, especially as the road has witnessed several fatal accidents.
The project is expected to conclude during the first half of 2020. Razzaz also visited Al Janoub society for special education and checked on the services it presents to people with disabilities.
