Recent rain channel 6.7mcm of water into Kingdom’s main dams

AMMAN — Recent rainfall has channelled approximately 6.7 million cubic metres (mcm) of water into the Kingdom’s main dams, the Ministry of Water announced on Tuesday. The total storage of the Kingdom's 15 main dams currently stands at 72mcm with a storage capacity of 25 per cent, out of their total capacity of 288.128 mcm, the ministry added according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
