Refinery says gas reserves sufficient

AMMAN — The Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company (JPRC) has enough reserves of gas and oil derivatives to last during the current weather conditions, JPRC CEO Abdel Karim Alawin said Wednesday.
He also noted that the JPRC recently bought 600,000 empty gas cylinders.
Alawin said the three gas-filling stations in east Amman, Zarqa and Irbid are currently working at full capacity all day long to meet the rising demand during the cold weather.
