AMMAN — HRH Crown Prince Hussein, the Regent, performed the second Friday prayers of Ramadan with worshippers at the King Abdullah I Mosque.
The Crown Prince listened to the Friday sermon delivered by cleric Mohammad Hassan, in which he highlighted the status of the Islamic nation and its moderate approach.
Hassan also reiterated the importance of performing more good deeds in Ramadan.
Also on Friday, the Regent, deputising for His Majesty Abdullah, attended the 72nd Hashemite Scientific Council — the second held this year.
Participants at the discussion examined how Islam's teachings focus on making it easier for worshippers to perform religious rituals.
