RMS director holds talks with Qatari counterpart

AMMAN — Director General of the Royal Medical Services (RMS) Brig. Gen. Shawkat Tamimi on Monday received Commander of Medical Services at the Qatar Armed Forces Maj. Gen. Nasser Kaabi and an accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, Tamimi and Kaabi discussed enhancing bilateral relations between the RMS and the Qatari medical services, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Tamimi pointed to efforts under way to develop cooperation in service of Jordanian and Qatari interests. Kaabi noted that the purpose of the visit was to take a “closer look” at the RMS’ experience, in addition to broadening prospects of cooperation and exchanging expertise.
The delegation visited a number of hospitals and medical centres at the Hussein Medical City and the Princess Muna College for Nursing, where they were briefed about the medical procedures followed and achievements made.
