RMS postpones 10th int’l conference

AMMAN — The Royal Medical Services (RMS) on Wednesday announced that it is postponing its 10th international conference, which was scheduled to be held on October 20 at the Dead Sea, due to the spread of COVID-19.
The conference was postponed to preserve the safety of participants, in compliance with the recommendations of the World Health Organisation and the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention and the instructions of the Ministry of Health, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Conference committees will continue to monitor developments related to the coronavirus, and will announce the rescheduling of the conference later.
The RMS conference is “one of the most important medical conferences” held on the regional level due to theRoyal patronage and wide international participation it boasts, according to Petra.
