Royal Court chief hosts delegation from EMPHNET

AMMAN — Royal Court Chief Yousef Issawi on Thursday received a delegation from the Eastern Mediterranean Public Health Network (EMPHNET). The visit aimed to highlight EMPHNET 's initiatives in Jordan and the Eastern Mediterranean region, and emphasise the Kingdom's role as a regional and international hub for public health. Established in 2009, the EMPHNET serves as the coordinating body for the field epidemiology training programmes in the Eastern Mediterranean region, mainly connect and support these programmes, recognising their essential epidemiological capacity, especially in the context of the complex public health landscape in the region, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
