Tarawneh reviewed the regional and international efforts made in the war on terror, and the importance of intensifying those efforts within a holistic strategy.

For their part, the delegation members expressed their appreciation for Jordan’s pivotal role, under His Majesty’s leadership, in dealing with various regional issues and in achieving peace, security and stability in the region.

Also on Wednesday, Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi met with the delegation and discussed bilateral ties and regional developments, especially the war on terror and the efforts exerted towards finding a solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
