AMMAN — Royal Court Chief Yousef Issawi on Sunday met with Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Post Company (JPC) Sami Daoud.
During the meeting at the Royal Hashemite Court, Daoud handed Issawi a new JPC publication featuring a volume of stamps commemorating the 25th anniversary of His Majesty King Abdullah’s reign, documenting national events and achievements throughout the King’s reign, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Issawi highlighted the publication’s significance as a historical document narrating the nation’s journey since His Majesty assumed his constitutional powers, praising its efforts and achievements over the years.
Daoud highlighted that the release documents national occasions and achievements through stamps, which also provide historical information about Jordan. He also stressed the importance of the issue in documenting and promoting tourism in Jordan, as it features prominent archaeological and tourist sites in the Kingdom.
Jordan’s stamps are among the most beautiful in the world, having been ranked first in the Euro-Mediterranean region for 2023, he said.
