The conferees, convening in the Italian city of Cagliari, discussed the policies prepared for each member state, according to a Royal Scientific Society (RSS) statement. Representatives from Italy, Spain, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan and Tunisia shared their policies to implement the project.
FOSTEr in MED is financed by the EU with 4.05 million euros through the ENPI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme, the statement said. The RSS “has played a central role since 2012 in the implementation of the project”, it added.
