Saudi embassy offers army officers umra trips

AMMAN — Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) officers and members of the Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers on Thursday travelled to Mecca to perform umra (the lesser Muslim pilgrimage) at the expense of Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Prince Khalid Bin Faisal Al Saud, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Saudi embassy said that this is the second umrah trip at the expense of the prince and includes 35 JAF officers. Prince Khalid wished them a safe trip.
