AMMAN — Members of the Board of Directors of Save the Children (STC)/Jordan have visited Zaatari refugee camp, some 80km northeast of Amman, to check on the organisation’s projects and services, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Monday.

They expressed their appreciation for the efforts exerted by STC Jordan to improve the livelihood of refugee children, especially in the field of education, as part of the organisation’s support to 376,000 children and their families in Jordan.

STC/Jordan, whose chairperson is HRH Princess Basma, offers services to some 400,000 children and their families in the fields of education, security, combating poverty and children’s rights. The organisation also helps youth and women by providing them with work opportunities that contribute to improving their living conditions.
