In a statement, the Senate underlined its confidence in the ability of Jordan to overcome this “difficult” situation and continue its humanitarian, Islamic and regional role.
Also on Sunday, the Jordan Reform Party also stressed its confidence in the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and efforts to release the pilot.
Meanwhile, the Wihdeh (unity) Party said Kasasbeh’s case should not be exploited for incitement, stressing that the pilot’s safe return is all that matters.
