Senate committee visits National Council for Family Affairs

AMMAN — Members of the Senate Women Committee on Wednesday praised the National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA) for its role in coordinating the work of family-related public organisations.
During a visit to the NCFA’s general secretariat, Senator Mai Abul Samen, who chairs the committee, said the council’s policies and programmes deal with crucial social issues, commending its concern with poor, broken and estranged families and the elderly, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Senators Haifa Najjar and Raeda Qutub said the NCFA is rich with Jordanian expertise on family affairs, while Senator Bassam Haddadin said the council’s work is pioneering and qualitative.
