Senate endorses medical association, audiovisual laws

AMMAN — The Senate on Wednesday endorsed draft amendments to the Jordan Medical Association (JMA) and the audiovisual media laws as referred from the Lower House.
The JMA Law for 2015 will go into effect after it is published in the Official Gazette, increasing the JMA council’s term from two years to three.
The Audio-Visual Media Law was a 2002 temporary law.
