AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez on Tuesday condemned the Israeli attack on Gaza and called on the international community to bear its responsibility and stop Israel’s recurrent assaults on the Palestinian people.
Fayez added that “Israel’s frequent brutal practices against the Palestinian people shows the entire world that Israel refuses to adhere to international laws”, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He said that such Israeli practices lead the region towards more violence and instability, which contradicts international efforts seeking to restore peace and security in the Middle East.
The president of the Upper House also called on international parliaments to swiftly take action to stop the assaults against Palestinians.
