Senate president lauds strong ties with Bangladesh

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez on Sunday night stressed the “distinguished” relations between Jordan and Bangladesh in various fields, and commended the level of economic growth in Bangladesh.
Fayez's remarks came during his meeting with Bangladeshi Ambassador to Jordan Nahida Sobhan during the inauguration ceremony of the "Bangabandhu Corner" gallery held by the embassy in Amman, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Monday.
The gallery includes photos of the life of the founder of Bangladesh, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. For her part, the ambassador welcomed the visitors to the gallery, describing Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as "the messenger of freedom".
