Shraideh, UNDP official review gov't's economic priorities programme

AMMAN — Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Nasser Shraideh and UN Assistant Secretary General and Director of the Regional Bureau for Arab States at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Khalida Bouzar on Monday discussed the government’s economic priorities programme for the years 2021-2023.
Shraideh commended the UN organisation’s contribution to financing local development, gender and institutional support projects, as well as its achievement of sustainable development goals, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Shraideh acquainted Bouzar with the current economic and social challenges as well as the repercussions of the Syrian refugee crisis on the Jordanian economy. The UN official’s interests covered economic, environment, climate change and gender issues.
