AMMAN — Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) personnel have arrested six people for allegedly possessing 50 palm-sized sheets of hashish and 5.1 kilogrammes of methamphetamine inside a tent that was used to store and sell narcotics in an unpopulated area in the Northern Badia, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson said on Tuesday.
Security agents, after receiving tip-offs, raided the place and arrested the six suspects, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. During the search, security personnel found the drugs and a firearm, the spokesperson said, noting that the case was referred to the State Security Court.
